Crain's Chicago business has an article on business dining in
the current economy:
"Here's a surprise to nobody: Company cutbacks are
shrinking business dining budgets. As restaurant critics for Crain's,
if we didn't know this from readers — 41% of some 1,600
surveyed online at ChicagoBusiness.com report tighter company
entertainment policies, and 54% are dining out less often — we
can see it in emptier dining rooms and wide-open reservation books."
"The upshot? Your choice as a business diner is more
important, or at least more valued, than ever."
